Cannabis indica vs. sativa - differences

Cannabis indica are varieties originating from the mountain regions of India, Pakistan or Afghanistan - characterized by a higher CBD (cannabidiol) index with respect to THC (tetrahydrocannabinol). By choosing indica, the user can expect a pleasant, relaxing (mentally and physically) and calming effect. Variations of this type are perfectly suitable for indoor cultivation - plants are low, produce buds abundant in trichomes (resinous glands), and thanks to rapid growth and flowering harvests can be started even after six weeks.

Cannabis sativa is a variety valued by connoisseurs coming from regions with a very warm climate, such as Thailand, Jamaica or Mexico. Unlike indica, it need a longer time to reach maturity and flowering phase (eg about 12 weeks), it also achieve much larger sizes and produce excellent yields. It is suitable for indoor and outdoor cultivation. By choosing sativa user can expect a pleasantly stimulating, energizing and euphoric action.
